If there is a small child in the family, it is not recommended to let the child play roughly with a puppy of this breed. These puppies are very sensitive and can easily be traumatized by rough handling. In the wrong hands, these dogs become too aggressive and tend to dominate.

Dogs of this breed are very protective and docile if provided with proper training and early socialization. Only a well socialized dog can be stable.
